Joy Salera, a native of Quezon City in the Philippines, began singing at age 4. By age 6 she had picked up the guitar. Joy was introduced to performing at age 9 when she and her 6 year old sister, Beverly Salera, participated in their first tour in Soul, Korea. For one month they charmed Korea with their music, singing covers from popular artists. While there Joy learned to play the piano by ear, and by age 16 she had also learned to play the drums and bass.
Being the daughter of a pastor, Salera was always encouraged to sing for the church. In 2004, Joy and sister Beverly recorded their first Filipino album which became an instant hit in several cities. They traveled all over the Philippines promoting their album. While in the process of recording a second album their father was called to North Carolina in the United States to minister which put a big halt on Joy’s musical career. Thus, Joy and her family moved away from the Philippines. After three long years of adjusting to a new environment, Salera’s purpose began to take shape as she indulged herself in a closer more intimate relationship with God. This reshaped her mindset and transformed her outlook on her life and her gifts. Now she could get back to work.
In 2008, Joy Salera was called to be the worship pastor at Tapestry Church in NJ. In 2010, she received an invitation to audition from RCA Records in Manhattan, NY. Fortunately, God closed that door and Joy became fully convinced that her gift is exclusively for God. Currently Joy is still the worship pastor for Tapestry Church, she started a professional photography business, and she continues to pursue her career in Christian music as a phenomenal singer, musician, and songwriter. She does have plans to record an album in the near future.

Teleah
Urban Gospel Female Artist: Teleah Hollingsworth brings a uniquely packaged element to the gospel music industry. Though influenced by many, her tone and approach to music favors that of Lauryn Hill and India Arie. Her subtle nuances from the early years of Whitney Houston give you an idea of where her passion and pursuit of singing stemmed from. She was born and raised in the Keystone state, an urban yet rural city known as Erie. Her hunger for music and arts led her on a journey from Pennsylvania where she cultivated her gift in local talent shows and church events. Virginia is where she continued to build her skill through more local competitions and also learned the ministry and art of “Praise and Worship.”
As she works to put the finishing touches on her Debut Project: Teleah is reminded how she has overcome life’s struggles by the word of her testimony through each song. The common denominator in each track, either worship, praise or a mid-tempo/upbeat Hip Hop influenced song, the message is simply Victory! Teleah’s music is diverse in sound and relevant to daily issues. “Everyday people” can listen and relate to newly leaked song “Champion” and feel inspired and encouraged to keep going regardless of the challenges in life. Poetically induced with scripture and real life experiences, This Hip Hop inspired anthem is sure to have you chanting its hook for days to come “You lose, I Win…I’m a CHAMPION”.

Over the years she’s witnessed the Lord weld together her love for theology, her love for humanity, and her love for creative expression—namely music. She desires to live out her faith in a tangible way—in away that mirrors the love that has been extended to her so graciously, and hopes that her music is a reflection of such desire.
